Michael Mortimore
Michael Mortimore (7 September 1937, in Bermuda – 10 September 2017) was a British geographer and a prolific researcher of issues in the African drylands. He was an academic in Nigerian universities for over 25 years. He ran a British research consultancy, Drylands Research.
